Up for sale is an excellent example of an early 6306-7001 from March of 1977, the JDM turtle with a 21 jewel hacking movement and Kanji/English day wheel. The unpolished case on this example is in good condition, with sharp lines between the brushed upper lugs and polished undercut. Most importantly, the crown takes a full 4 turns to screw down, indicating that the integrated crown tube is intact and not stripped. There are hairline scratches throughout the case, which are particularly noticeable in the photos and video on the polished case sides and caseback, but there are no major dings or dents. The bezel insert has a few hairline scratches but no chips or cracks, and the bidirectional bezel has strong clicks in both directions. However, there is a bit of play in the bezel, which can be tightened up with a new bezel gasket during service. The dial is in excellent condition, with no water spots or scratches and a nicely faded “Water Resist” text. The original lume, which is beginning to turn a straw yellow color, is untarnished by ”lume rot” (aka mold). Finally, the crystal has a few scratches that are noticeable when the light hits them at the right angle, but they do not hinder legibility. The 6306 movement is un-serviced by me but is running strongly, with an average on-wrist accuracy of approximately +20-30spd and a ≈35 hour power reserve. The movement hacks as it should and both the quickset day and quickset date are operating flawlessly. However, as with all vintage movements, I would recommend a full service and gasket replacement if you plan on wearing this daily. It's a great example of an uncommon JDM turtle. But since I somehow accumulated three of these 6306 turtles over the years, I need to let one go. **Details (recorded measurements taken with my digital calipers):** Case Diameter (from 10 to 4): 44.0mm Thickness (Including crystal): 12.8mm Lug-to-Lug: 46.0mm Lug Width: 22mm Movement: Seiko 6306A [Timestamp](https://imgur.com/a/7YlTwNx) [Video](https://imgur.com/a/g4rbcoY) Asking **$525** (reduced from 625) with UPS Ground shipping included within the U.S. Happy to answer any questions about the watch. Happy Monday everyone!
