Selling a rare Seiko 6306-7001 ScubaPro 450. This is a 1976 model (68XXXX), the very first serial production of the ScubaPro 450s. Case: Overall very good condition. Light signs of wear, but no major dings or markings. Crown fully screws down with the correct 3-4 turns. Original large spline crown. Dial: When serviced, the date code was checked and confirmed to be a (60) which aligns with the serial number. Dial condition is good, ScubaPro text is the correct light blue and the “WATER RESIST” has faded to a yellow color. Few small marks near the handset at 9 o’clock. Dial, rehaut, and bezel line up. Movement: 6306A movement, hacking, non-hand winding. Freshly serviced by The Seikologist in August. Running extremely well, averaging -2/+2 seconds a day. Upper and lower mainspring arbor port jewels were also installed. Hands: Decent overall condition. Some minor oxidization on the lume surrounds. Crystal: Average condition, no big scratches but some light scratches from wear. Strap: Comes with the original Seiko strap, though it is cracking and someone cut the long end of the strap shorter.
