Selling this very scarce Rolex 6290 18K yellow gold 'Bombay Lugs' Oyster Perpetual from 1953 with the Caliber A.260 Automatic Movement. The HEAVY 34mm SOLID 18K Yellow Gold case is in overall good condition. There are some nicks and dents here and there - what would you expect from a 73 year old watch? The watch is running well however, it has not been serviced since I've owned it (10 years). This watch seldom comes up for sale - I have not seen this reference in 18K gold come up for sale since I bought it. Aside from the nicks and dents the watch presents itself well. The dial has been REFINISHED in the past. I have had 2 well known vintage Rolex experts examine it and they concur. For that reason, I am pricing this rare reference slightly above scrap value. $4,995 plus actual shipping via Zelle or Wire gets you this very unique vintage Rolex.
