A transitional model from the Casino Royale time frame. It kept a lot of the design cues from the Bronsnan era Seamasters but has upgrades such as the applied indices and logo, and the Co-Axial 2500 movement as well as the black dial and bezel in this style instead of the Peter Blake style, and larger handset. Has scuffing/wabi through out, the crystal has a scratch at the 2 oclock marker area. The bezel is in very good condition. Crown screws in smoothly and is keeping excellent time. Unsure of the service history but its an excellent user or a excellent candidate to send into Omega for a spa service. Comes with a lightly worn OEM Omega rubber strap and OEM Omega tang style clasp as well as the Bond bracelet. The bracelet is sized for a 7 inch wrist and doesn't have any extra links. No box or papers other than the Ebay provided documentation and paperwork. Price: **$2600 net** shipped and tracked. No trades. Payment method accepted is Paypal. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
