Seiko Prospex Alpinist – SPB117 39.5 mm Case | 13.2 mm Case Thickness | 46.4mm Length | 20 mm Lug Width   Up for sale is the famous shark-tooth Seiko Alpinist with a stunning matte black dial. There’s a 70-hour power reserve, a crazy 200 meters water resistance along with those beautiful cathedral-style hands and compass bezel this is truly a GADA from dress to field.    Compass ring rotates well and is not misaligned. Within spec spd. Since this watch is a strap monster, I’m including a black NATO and a black silicon (Vaer-branded), and of course, the OEM steel bracelet. One huge caveat (this might be a dealbreaker for some) – I had a local watch technician replace the crystal with an AR coated sapphire without a cyclops. The watch was also buffered and polished at the same time so it’s looking spiffy. I will note that there are some scratches on the case back mineral glass…. I really have no idea how they occurred other than maybe some sand got in between my wrist and watch one day.
