The Chronostop was originally marketed towards young folks who were interested in a chronograph, but didn't want the expense or didn't have the need for the complexity of Omega's more complicated chronograph models. This is what watchmakers refer to as a "driver" watch ​, and it's meant to be worn under the wrist. The thinking being that in the 60/70s, it was more common to drive holding the 8 and 4 position, so it was easily visible when holding a steering wheel. It also largely applies to the 10 and 2 position as well because it only requires a slight turn of the wrist, rather than removing your hand from the wheel completely. Reference: 145.010 **Condition:** The case and crystal are in very good condition for being 50+ years old. The indices and hands show signs of patina, but otherwise look great. The dial on this has fully tropified which is pretty cool. The watch seems to run well, but no service history.
