This Omega Seamaster chronograph oozes 70s watchmaking excellence. The silver dial with a metallic outer tachymetre track, matte gray subdials, and bright light blue center minute hand has a very sporty appearance, especially with its 38.5mm square-tonneau style case. The Omega cal. 1040 that powers this Seamaster is a modified Lemania 1340 Movement and boasts a handful of helpful complications. Omega made the cal. 1040 their own by bumping jewel count from 17 to 22 and by adding a 24-hour indicator inside the running seconds subdial. The hour recorder is located at the 6 o'clock position and the center minutes recorder is made recognizable by its bright orange airplane style hand. This movement features a date complication at the 3 o'clock and the movement beats at 28,800 bph. This movement can be seen in the Speedmaster Mark IV as well as the limited edition 1973 Speedmaster 125 **Condition:** * In the condition you’d expect for a 50+ year old watch. Minor wear throughout the unpolished case, and on the crystal, but no major blemishes of any kind. It runs, and all complications appear to work, but there is no service history. It seems to be all original. The tiny left sundial looks like it might have been slightly retouched at one point.
