For sale is a rare Seiko Brightz SAGA205 Flight Expert, a Japan Domestic Market Only model. Watch and original box will be included. The watch is in US, so you don't have to deal with more than 10% custom tax and other back-and-forth communication with customs when you buy from Japan. It should fit someone’s wrist up to 18.8 cm. There are light marks on the metal part of the watch, but overall condition is excellent. I would have no problem gifting this watch to family and friends. Please refer to the photos for the condition of the watch as I do my best to document the condition of the watch with complete honesty (please excuse the dusts).

Polished bezel is made of ceramic, so you are not going to scratch the bezel. It looks like four buttons and the crown are all made of ceramic. Crystal is clear and perfect! The fit and finish is outstanding and is a big leap compared to other Seikos, even some Seiko Prospex. The plastic on the casebook is still on and can be removed easily. There are black crystals at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock; along with the crystal prongs on each crystal and polishes facets at 3 and 6, there is a little bit of bling going on and I am sure it will bring a smile to your face

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
