For Sale is my Omega Speedmaster 125 This watch was initially advertised as a Limited Edition to celebrate Omega's 125th Anniversary in 1973. Omega pulled out all the stops, besides it's unique design, it was the world's FIRST automatic chronograph with Chronometer certification! This is an uncommon watch and it's paired with an even more uncommon box. I was fortunate enough to come across this box a few years ago. I've never seen another one for sale on its own (anywhere). The watch and all features are currently functioning correctly. The bracelet fits my 6.75" wrist with some room in the clasp and TWO extra links included. Despite it's size, it is remarkably comfortable to wear. The watch came to me with an incorrect crown. I sourced a new Omega crown (it uses the same crown as the Speedy Pro) and had it installed. *The nerdy stuff:* *Researching this watch, you will learn that it was originally marketed as a Limited Edition of 2000, however the true number produced is unknown (some say it's higher). Enthusiasts have attempted to estimate the true quantity by logging serial numbers but reached no certain conclusion. What IS known is that, of all produced, the earlier examples had an alphanumeric caseback code (a letter an a number up to 500) and later models do not. This watch has a caseback code of D277, indicating that it was #277 in the 4th run of #500 and therefore most probably part of the initial LE series of 2000. I don't have an abstract for this watch, but an enthusiast who maintains a database of all known examples was able to confirm that the serial number and caseback code align with other examples made in November of 1973 (+/-). This is important to consider when comparing prices.* *Some may know that the movement is housed in its own case and can be pressed out of the larger housing. This is true and I have done it once (although I didn't take photos). It's not a simple exercise since it's a precise fit and held quite firmly with an o-ring. Some fans have even designed new outer housings to change up the style.* I am asking USD$3950 + shipping. The watch and I are in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have many references on Canadian forums which I can share. [Timestamp](https://imgur.com/a/RDSA02k)
