This watch originally belonged to my buddy’s grandpa. This one has both history and character. I was and am still considering servicing and then keeping. But my local watchmakers are backlogged with other orders, will take some time. **Details:** * **Model:** Rolex Datejust 1601, Sigma dial * **Year:** 1973 * **Condition:** * The watch is fully functional and keeps rough time but definitely needs a service if someone wants improve accuracy and clean the dial. * Original Rolex crystal was replaced at some point (has the 'R' in the center). * Genuine and original movement and head, and clasp but an authenticator said while the bracelet itself is genuine Rolex, it is not correct to the watch. * The case back has an engraving: “O.V.M.M.” — the initials of the seller’s father, passed down as a gift. * Dial and crystal could benefit from a cleaning during servicing. **Pricing:** I'm asking for **$3,200** plus shipping, which I think is the lowest possible deal. Without bracelet I'm seeing this selling for $4.5k+.
