Up for sale I have this beautiful Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Goodplanet GMT. Reference Number: 23230442203001 Calibre Number: 8605 Price: $4,500.00Case Diameter: 43.5 mm This is the first nice watch I have ever purchased. It is very near and dear to my heart, and unfortunately I have to sell it. It is a complete full set bought from an AD in the fall of 2014. It was a daily wear for a long time. It has been serviced once, and polished once. It is keeping perfect time as I have not worn it much since servicing. There is a small scratch on the crystal, and that I think justifies the fair price. I have had several successful transactions on watch exchange here in the last year. I don't mind talking on the phone, and I will send any additional information or pictures as requested. Price is negotiable to an extent and shipping will be included to the lower 48. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
