This is an absolute time capsule! One of those really fun finds that appears to have spent the majority of its life tucked away in the original box. Opening the box you will experience the feeling of being transported back to 1967, which is the year that the serial dates this watch to. Recently given new life with a full service (August 2024), this watch is ready to be loved and worn. See timegrapher photo - watch is running great. Cal. 601 manual wind movement. A perfect dress watch that has an absolutely timeless design and slides perfectly under the sleeve of your favorite dress shirt. Case measures 33mm, 39.5mm lug to lug, and 8mm thin. It has a beautiful brushed dial and a 14K Gold Filled case. It’s still on the original Omega strap, with original Omega buckle, that seems to be made of Kangaroo(?) leather. Includes the original inner display box, outer box, Omega cloth, and Warranty paperwork (which is likely open due to this watch being given as a service award) but is correct as it’s dated 1967. It has a few very small “specks” on the dial that could likely be removed but I asked my watchmaker not to touch the dial. ***I’m asking $795 shipped CONUS for this beautiful timepiece - Via Venmo, PayPal F&F, or Zelle*** Happy to answer any questions or provide any additional photos.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
