Hello all! I have my good ole Seiko Bell-Matic up for sale. I obtained it a few years ago near the start of my watch journey, but sadly I haven’t had the chance to wear it too much the past few years. I originally got it because of the absolutely stunning dial— amazing condition on it! The overall condition of the rest of the watch is in good vintage condition for it being 50+ years old. There are expected hairline scratches throughout the surface as well as a pretty polished/ rounded crystal. All functions of the watch still work great, even the alarm! A super cool movement from an era gone by, and an awesome novelty to collect. I currently have it sized to my 6.75 inch/ 17cm wrist. it comes with one extra link. I am asking $229 shipped CONUS via USPS priority mail (included in the total price). I take paypal G&S and F&F. If using G&S, please just add an additional 3% to cover the paypal fee. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
