WATCH NOT INCLUDED. BRACELET ONLY. For sale is my Uncle Straps (Formerly Uncle Seiko) Z199 bracelet for the SNK809, 807, 805 or 803. Pictured with the cream dial for illustrative purposes only. Watch not included. It has a stamped, friction clasp, sized with screws. End links are hollow, but the bracelet does not feel cheap or jangly at all. Tons of micro adjust, as you would expect from Uncle Straps. The unique link configuration makes it conform nicely to the wrists. I didn't have any hair pulling. Overall, it's extremely comfortable to wear and a perfect match with the bead blasted finish. All links will be included. Some light desk diving marks on the clasp and the usual link rubbing, as expected with occasional wear in large rotation. Asking $40 USD with free shipping. Zelle preferred, CONUS only please. For reference, Uncle Straps website currently lists at $59 plus additional shipping cost. Note: they also sell a milled clasp upgrade, so you can improve this bracelet after purchase.

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
