Good afternoon, WatchEx! Number two of the day: the Norqain Freedom 60 39mm with Kenissi (Tudor's supplier) 70hr movement. Another one of the most under-appreciated brands in watches, Norqain has done a fantastic job carving out their own niche - modern independent watchmaking from former big-brand watch executives with a focus on adventure and a quality well above the competition. Norqain makes watches that are purpose-built for actual use, not just pretty pieces of jewelry that are spec'd out to hell. The Freedom 60 line is their most accessible from a price standpoint, coming in an array of options from 39 to 42mm, and from SW200-1 to Kenissi movements. This is the best of the bag in my opinion - a very wearable 39mm with the upgraded Kenissi movement. I genuinely do not think you can find a Kenissi-powered watch anywhere else near this price point....and especially one that's as nice as this one is. A clean anthracite sunray dial only adds to the versatility of this piece, as I don't think that there is an environment where this watch wouldn't be suitable in. Suit/tie, climbing gear, or sweats and sneakers - you're set.
