This vintage 1950’s Wittnauer Ref 3256 Two-Register Chronograph is available for purchase. The Details: This Ref 3256 Wittnauer Chronograph features a 35mm steel case with an acrylic crystal. The sectored dial features a telemeter scale at the outer ring and two recessed sub-dials at the 3 and 6 o’clock positions. The dauphine-style hour and minute hands are silver with lume while the chronograph second and sub-dial hands are blued. This timepiece is powered by the Landeron Calibre 51 movement some sources say it is the Venus 188 movement. This particular one is in near NOS condition, all original parts -unpolished case and original crown which is usually missing on these. It was serviced late last year and is running fantastically (timegrapher results were added) Wittnauer was an american watch company founded in 1885 and became well known for building very robust timepieces. Later the company was bought by Longines in 1950. Which is the year this reference started production. Hence why I found it appropriate to pair this one with a period correct Longines buckle. Photo album and timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/doA7o12 A charming watch that I am selling from my personal collection and I am still hesitant about the sale haha. I am asking $1399 excluding shipping and fees. You won’t find a better one for cheaper. I am based in Denmark
