For sale is a Casio A1000M-1BVT mod set. I bought this watch on eBay to take the negative module for an F-91W. So I made a mod from this case. And it’s probably the most desirable mod of the steel A1000s. You get the dark green mother of pearl dial with a positive display and bracelet from an A700. The bracelet swap works really well. The brushed A700 bracelet looks way better on the A1000. And the polished A1000 bracelet looks way better on the A700.

The A700 module is very similar to the A1000 module. The only two differences are the backlight color - the A700’s is orange as opposed to the A1000’s white. And the A700 module is rated +/– 30 seconds per month as opposed to the A1000 module at +/– 15 seconds per month. With non-thermocompensated quartz movements, you would probably never notice that difference in the real world.

And this includes the A700 case with the A1000 bracelet attached. The A1000 bracelet uses quick release spring bars that are included in a bag. But the A700 uses fat-tip spring bars so I used those. The best way to get a module for this is to look for a beat up A700 on eBay.

The only thing to mention about the condition of the watches is a speck of something on the crystal of the A1000. I tried wiping it away with a damp microfiber cloth and can’t feel it with my fingernail. I looked at it with a 10x loupe and it looks like it’s under the crystal. But I have no idea how it would have gotten between the crystal and faceplate considering the faceplate is fixed in place - it’s not removable. Anyway, the last picture shows it circled under bright, harsh light.

The price is the cost to your door anywhere the USPS delivers. Outside of that, we can discuss shipping methods and costs. I can accept PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.
