This is a really cool piece, the best of all worlds Sinn in my opinion. The 103 has long been a popular model line and this is a limited edition of 500 that was released in 2013. What sets it apart from the typical 103 design is it's panda-style chronograph registers, but other than that it is typical 103 with the Valjoux 7750 auto movement, screw down pushers, and sapphire display caseback.

I'm the second owner of this watch, it came to me in 2021. While I've worn the hell out of it I haven't beaten the hell out of it. I photographed all the wear as best as I could with a natural light picture and an unflattering (as much as a could) closeup for each side of the watch. It has always kept good time, but should probably be serviced in the near future as it is 10 years old and I'm unsure of it's previous service history.

Included in the sale are the OG box and papers, the OEM alligator print strap and the bracelet that came with the watch new, three additional Sinn leather straps, a rubber strap, and four handmade (three by me) leather straps.

Asking ~~$4000~~ $3,500 net to me, shipped USPS Priority in CONUS. INT buyers not preferred, but we can work around it.

Sinn Spezialuhren GmbH is a manufacturer of mechanical wristwatches based in Frankfurt am Main. The company was founded in 1961 by flight instructor and pilot Helmut Sinn under the name ‘Helmut Sinn Spezialuhren’.

Following its foundation in 1961, the company focused on the manufacture of navigation cockpit clocks and pilot chronographs and sold these through direct selling, bypassing retailers. The clocks and watches were produced according to pilot Helmut Sinn’s specifications in the private label sector in Switzerland. By eliminating the trade margin of the retailers, the company was able to offer its clocks and watches at a lower price than through traditional sales channels.

In 1994, Helmut Sinn sold the company to Lothar Schmidt. Following the sale, he acquired Swiss watchmaker Guinand in 1996. In 1998, he set up a new company in Frankfurt am Main. With this company, he offered brand watches from Jubilar, Chronosport and the newly acquired Guinand. In 2006, he retired from business activity. Since handing over the management of the business to his long-standing employee Horst Hassler, he now acts as an advisor to the company. On September 3rd 2016 Helmut Sinn celebrated his 100th birthday.
