35mm Vintage Longines Admiral 5 Stars Automatic with Quick set Date
The previous owner was a collector that purchased it 40 years ago. This was a dress-only watch for me and I rarely wore it for more than a few hours, so I was not too concerned about accuracy. That said, it does run very well and I have included a pic of it running on a timegrapher. Everything works, but this is a vintage watch so adjust your expectations accordingly, the watch is sold as-is. It has a signed crown with a really cool quickset date function, just push it in to advance the date. This feature combined with the 19800 beat rate would seem indicate a Caliber 505 movement, likely from the early 1970s, but this is based on my research, and I am by no means an expert.
The 35mm case (excluding the crown) is unpolished and has lots of presence, I was comfortable wearing this on my 8.25" wrist. It is 10mm thin with a lug to lug around 43mm and accept 18mm straps. The watch is in excellent shape considering its age, please refer to the pics for more detail.
