Up for sale is a Hamilton Khaki field LL Bean collaboration, sold only through the 1991 LL Bean Spring catalog. It's the most modern of the LL Bean colabs with Hamilton, featuring a 2824 and capable of being fitted with a standard sapphire crystal (which this has). Dial and hands show the 30+ years of age, and the case appears unpolished. It's a good example of a vintage piece that's seen real life wear. This model was branded with Hamilton's Lancaster, PA location, which was closed soon after. I'm not sure how many other watches had Lancaster on the caseback after this, but it could not have been many. It's recently serviced and runs -8" a day. Asking $525 shipped and insure USPS Priority within the US, we'll need to talk if you're outside. Thanks for looking :)

The Hamilton Watch Company is a brand of the Swatch Group, a Swiss watch company based in Bienne, Switzerland. The Hamilton Watch Company was formerly a storied American watch design and manufacturing company, which incorporated in 1892 and produced its first watch in 1893.

After its formation, the Hamilton Watch Company went on to manufacture and market pocket watches and wristwatches, ending American manufacture in 1969. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, the Hamilton Watch Company became a diversified conglomerate itself and was subsequently purchased by a larger holding group, the third company integrated into what ultimately evolved into the Swatch group.
