Hello everyone. Up for sale is a rare 1967 Omega Chronostop Genéve - Driver Edition (horizontal orientation, rather than vertical), powered by the Omega 865 Movement, model 145.010, with Omega bracelet and papers. This watch was originally sold in Geneva by A. Collet S.A. in 1968, per the included paperwork. A rare combo. It was designed to be worn "under" the wrist, instead of in the normal position "above" the wrist. The thinking was that while driving ( with your hands in the 14:45 position ), you could read the time, without removing your hands from the steering wheel. **DIAL:** Original dial; gray in color. At the very bottom, it states “T SWISS MADE T” which I believe denotes it has Tritium on the lume plots and hands. **CASE:** 35mm (w/o crown) x 39mm unpolished stainless steel case, Matching original crown and caseback. **CASEBACK:** Blank back with the words “Waterproof Tested 30M” **CRYSTAL:** I’m not sure if this is original as I can’t see a very tiny Omega logo at center. It is domed, and could use a bit of polishing with some PolyWatch. **CROWN:** Original signed stainless steel crown with Omega logo **BRACELET:** Omega 1098 bracelet with 123 End Links. The bracelet has a folding clasp with Omega logo and is adjustable. My understanding is that this bracelet was also used on Seamaster, Speedmaster, and Flightmaster during the same era. My wrist is 7"+ and there is more than enough room. I always considered this a "bonus" as it \*is a vintage bracelet and has seen some stretch and not necessarily priced into the sale of the watch. **MOVEMENT:** Original manual wind 17J Omega 865 movement, run at a rapid 21,600 Bph.
