Mahk really hooked us enthusiasts up with his reanimation of the SKX, adding sapphire crystal, drilled lugs, and a more modern movement with hacking and hand-winding. This one features an all-black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. I put it on a StrapCode Angus-J jubilee-style bracelet, in matching DLC black, to really evoke the original. DLC being the extremely tough coating it is, this watch and its bracelets show almost no signs of wear, save for hair scratches on the un-coated caseback. I bought this new in late 2021, so it still has the older style of caseback, before the one with the lighthouse. I love this watch and thought I would keep it forever, but you know how that tends to go.
