This is my 34mm solid Platinum vintage Credor dress watch. It is very rare, very thin and very beautiful but I just don't wear it enough to justify keeping it at the moment. About the watch: Classic dress watch proportions in the rarest of precious metals. This Credor, despite being only 34mm and slightly over 5mm thick has some surprising heft to it due to the platinum case. The dial is sprinkled with white gold which shimmers in the right lighting and is absolutely beautiful. Condition is excellent for its age, with some light signs of wear on the polished surfaces. Platinum is very easy to polish and restore, so these can easily be buffed out. It has a recent battery, which should last several more years, powering the high accuracy quartz 8J movement which preceded the Grand Seiko 9F movement. The 8J class was Seiko's "cost be damned" movement, and some argue it is of higher quality than the 9F due to the increased battery replacement interval, general robustness and impressive accuracy. It is widely considered one of the best quartz movements ever produced. The 8J80 movement in this watch is a thermocompensated high accuracy quartz rated to a staggering +/- 10 seconds per YEAR. I believe this particular example dates to 1997. I included a original brochure with the launch listing information of it in the imgur album which was quite hard to find. Here's a source of info if you want to deep dive into the origins of this movement: https://vintageseiko.nl/blog/grand-seiko-reborn-the-genesis-of-a-grand-watch Specs: 34mm x 39mm lug to lug Just over 5mm thick 18mm lug width (is wearing a 19mm that I took the quick release spring bars off to fit) Price: $1,999 shipped to CONUS. Will entertain reasonable offers Scope: Comes with original Credor box and your choice of one out of a selection of 18mm straps. No interest in trades Payment via PayPal F&F, new users should use G&S and cover any fees Thanks for looking, please reach out with any questions. Edit: corrected the approximate date of the watch, believe it is from 1997
