SRP775 gilt turtle with unused oem bracelet. This was my daily wear for a couple of years and have used it to help convince two friends to get turtles because it is my opinion the most comfortable 200m diver Seiko makes. Top outside edge has one spot on each side that shows some wear. Both are desk diving scuffs, one side more noticeable, the other barely so. The bottom has some scratches from struggling to swap the bracelet. Also there's some polishing / wear on the screw down caseback. I think it's from the stitching on the canvas strap I liked. The bracelet and the two one piece straps are included. The canvas strap is gross and you should probably tell me to throw it away but its there if you want it. I found a vintage watch in my dad's things and bought a Sinn so this just hasn't been getting any wrist time. It's time to let it go. Asking $220 Venmo or Paypal, shipped via usps to CONUS. If you'd like another carrier I expect you to pay the difference. Not looking for any watches at the moment to trade but would be interested in some IEMs Etymotic ER4SR, Blessing 2/3, or Sennheiser IE600.

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
