Here we have another beautiful Omega from 1945. This one is a 30T2-SC because of the central sweep seconds. It has the quintessential omega 30T2 design with the beautiful two tone dial and scientific dial. It's a delight to wear.



The dial has a wonderful subtle warm patina, a ring of a second tone surrounds the dial, and contains both roman numerals and nipple indices a feature more famously found on the very expensive and incredibly rare chronometres. There are some subtle shadows of patina but overall good condition.

The case measures 33mm and wears very handsomely on the wrist. The case back has some damage to its edge, but fortunately this is at the back of the watch and is not noticed during wearing. The caseback performs as it should, it is not wobbly and does not turn at all, it holds in place very firmly as any other caseback would. The case appears unpolished. If the damage bothers you I have seen other members of this forum successfully and relatively affordably have the case backs laser welded - which leaves a seamless and untraceable repair when compete.

The entire watch is original from the rare crown, to the hands to the dial and of course the movement - which is running strong. It hasn't been serviced during my ownership however, so I would recommend a service at some point in the future.
