I am updating the price from his original post, which you can find on his page and a couple of my notes from having it for a few days. “For sale today is a really cool project of mine and its a chance to get a one of a kind Alpinist with some really cool features. I wanted a reimagined SARB063 Alpinist in GMT form. The Dial: This is an OEM SARB063 dial that has been sent off and professionally modified to have the 24 hour markers added. Also, IT ACTUALLY SAYS ALPINIST ON THE DIAL!!! Just what every Alpinist collector has always wanted. I got tired of waiting for Seiko to give us what we wanted…so I took matters into my own hands. The dial has a really cool sand texture that is hard to capture in pictures but looks amazing in person. Around the dial on the chapter ring are Ground to Air emergency signals…a really cool touch for an adventure watch and hopefully a feature that you never have to use. This watch comes in a fully DLC coated case with 22mm drilled lugs. It is a 42mm diameter and features an OEM SARB063 bezel. The rotating bezel has compass markings as well as dive timer markings for elapsed time. This watch features an NH34 GMT movement that has been regulated and has a DLC Coated rotor with the Alpinist logo on it. This can be seen through the exhibition caseback. This watch has been pressure tested and is ready for adventure. It also comes with 3 bracelet options. A fully DLC coated oyster style bracelet with a signed Seiko clasp that includes a divers extension to be worn over a glove or sleeve while adventuring. It also comes with a Clockwork Republic FKM rubber strap with DLC coated end links for an integrated look. Lastly, it comes with a very sturdy green NATO strap with DLC coated hardware.” I’m asking for $430 OBO shipped in the US. Notes: the lume is excellent, the build quality is excellent and the watch works great and is a very professional mod. The bezel is bidirectional but is not a click bezel that we’re used to. It slides around both ways without too much effort and is infinitely adjustable due to not having clicks. My main disappointment (although it’s lovely) is the lack of AR coating. I don’t know if it’s AR coated or not officially, but it’s pretty reflective, which as a watch snob, bothers me a bit. Anyways, I don’t know nearly as much about this watch as the original owner but I’m hopeful it finds a great home.
