Grand Seiko SBGX337 Up for sale is a SBGX337 Grand Seiko diver on a blue silicon OEM seiko band with the stock metal bracelet and full kit and papers. The watch is no longer in warranty. I am the second owner with previously purchasing it on this forum. I have worn it fairly frequently since it is so amazing and it shows on the case, bezel, and bracelet with a fair amount of light scuffs, as is so common with Grand Seikos due to their high level of finishing. The dimensions come in at 43.6mm in diameter x 49mm lug to lug x 13mm thick. I added some pictures on wrist to show how close it sits on the wrist. It fits WAY smaller than the dimensions suggest due to some crazy science they put into the case shape. It hugs my 7.15 inch wrist fantastically. See pictures for the condition. I will try to do my best to highlight the flaws. Most notably, there is are scratches on the bezel at 4, 13, and 55 minute mark. Also on the high polished on the top of all the lugs as well as on the clasp. Just dm me to see anything more or if you have questions. I'm asking for $2400 shipped CONUS. Trades: I'm looking for another good luxury diver. An Eterna Kontiki really has caught my eye but im open to other watches so just ask to see!

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
