I am selling an old slim Submariner from the French brand Yema:

Yema is a French watch brand, created in 1948 by Henry Louis Belmont, in Besançon.
This model was marketed in 1988, for the 40th anniversary of the brand.
It uses the dial, hands and caseback (Yema "Y" logo replaced by "40") of the Yema Superman Y90016 from the same period:

A kind of little Superman perfect for small wrists!

Rare model on the second-hand market.

CONDITION:
- The watch is in very good condition / very well preserved for a 35 year old watch.

WORKING ORDER:

The movement works very well: keeping time (drift less than 15 s. / 24 hours), power reserve (46 hours) and trouble-free date change.
No fast date, but semi-fast.

OTHER:

No traces of oxidation.
The watch, apart from its strap, is completely original.
It is sold on a new generic Oyster bracelet, adjusted for a wrist of 16.5 / 17 cm. Note that I have 3 additional links left (all present), allowing me to enlarge it by + 3 cm.
The folding clasp has 6 holes spaced 3.5 mm apart for optimum adjustment.
It is sold with its original box and outer box.

Founded in 1948 in Besançon (Doubs) by Henry Louis Belmont, the company distinguished itself in the very beginning by creating the first automatic chronometers manufactured entirely in France, and became famous for the technical qualities and sports characteristics of its watches.

Having been owned by Seiko Watch Corporation of Japan since 1988, the company recently returned to French hands via a buyout by Louis Eric Beckensteiner. As a result, a transition is occurring as of September, 2005. The new Chairman has set a target for watch sales of 50,000 in 2005 and 100,000 pieces with a turnover of 10 million euros in 2008.
