Hello - up for sale is great example of classic late 1960s Omega style and design. This is the “Jumbo” Seamaster Chronostop. Case/Crown: all original stainless case with original signed crown. Case shows some honest wear, minor dings and marks - nothing excessive. The case back shows some wear after being worn on a bund strap for 40 plus years by the original owner. Measures 40mm excluding the crown, 47mm lug to lug, and a 22mm lug width. Signed original crystal. (See pics) Dial and hands: all original and clean with great dimension and detail. The lume has aged. The outer tachometer ring has been touched up around the outside edges. Movement: caliber 865 was just serviced with a new mainspring. It runs incredibly well with a great power reserve and strong amplitude. Chrono functions are working exactly as they should. The watch will come on a new high quality handmade leather strap. Overall, this is a great way to add some late 60s Omega style to your collection. These watches are a great value in the vintage market considering they use a less complicated version of the Speedy Pro movement (861) and are a great size on the wrist.
