The fun starts as I've modded in a beautiful aftermarket "Seiko" branded silvery-white dial with lumed markers and a seductive scalloped texture. And the texture here is not some painted illusion, it has waves and dips in three dimensions, giving the dial real depth and a vibrant sense of movement. Obviously the intricately textured dial is reminiscent of the dials of Grand Seiko, so I've paired it with a GS leaning handset of razor sharp dauphine hands that are brushed in the inner triangle but high polished around the edges, giving you a whiff of Zaratsu for a fraction of the cost. Lastly, I've used a glossy blue second hand for a pop of color and to give the proceedings a cooling centerpiece. I've matched this ice-cold stunner with an appropriately frigid looking ice-blue suede strap with white contrast stitching. The whole effect is so many levels of cool on-wrist.
