Hi guys!
Who met me personally knows about my passion for this reference, that I consider amongst the most important ever made by Omega, for many reasons. I have many flying saucer and I decided to let this one go.

This watch is special in many aspects.
First, well... it's a flying saucer (or Disco Volante as we italians love to call them)! It's a very rare reference, made in late 30s - early 40s, a crazy 39mm wide piece of steel in a time when the average watch was like 32mm wide.
It's design is timeless, the lug-free watch is suitable for basically every wrist, and it's the quintessence, IMHO, of the craftmanship art of Omega during that time.
Secondly, this dial is crazy nice. It's hard to find a black gilt dial like this, with a glossy finishing that makes this dial shine with an almost blue light! I tried to show this effect with some pics, but trust me... in real life it's breathless.

Overall condition is gorgeous. I don't think crown is the original one (they were a bit thinner originally, but anyway not signed); golden hands are original, case has a crazy nice shape. Omega 26.5 calibre is working well, last service is unknown.

There's not so much to say about it, I think pics are enought to understand the importance of this watch. This reference is amongst the most sought after by collectors and there's a why.

For this beauty my price is 8500€, shipped included.

Me and watch are located in Italy, I have lot of worldwide references to provide if needed.

Thank you all
Thank you OF
M.
