There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 5 screws and engraved with, "Glashutte Original – Navigator – 5 ATM – Stainless Steel," and the serial number. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and stepped bezel are in great condition. The black dial has luminous steel dauphine hands, a center sweep second hand, luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, and luminous baton indices. The mechanical automatic self-winding Glashutte Original caliber 39 movement is rhodium plated ¾ plate with beautiful decoration. It's constructed with 48 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber protector, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a swan-neck regulator. There is a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and the oscillating weight has a 21K gold segment. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). No issues with the watch mechanically. No significant gain or loss in timekeeping. There are a few wear marks on the case but the crystal and handset is clean. Plenty of life left in the original alligator strap. The watch comes with full box and papers. No service history.
