Our story begins with an Invicta Prodiver in classic 40mm diameter, with 20mm lug width and 47mm lug-to-lug, powered by Seiko's NH35 hacking and handwinding automatic movement, running beautifully. I've taken that bulletproof platform and modded in a selection of red and black touches that make this truly a unique piece. The main draw here is a wonderfully complex dial with sharp inward facing indices, vaguely reminiscent of the Omega Railmaster. The dial itself has a complex and textured finish that catches the light hypnotically on wrist. I've paired that high quality dial with OEM Seiko hands from an SNK805, whose sharp profile works wonderfully with the other angular elements of the dial. The little pop of red on the tip of the second hand ties the internals to the red on the "Coke" style bezel insert, complete with more Omega styling with scalloped edges. I've also polished off the Invicta branding from the case flank, crown and bracelet to sterilize the look and then I returned the case side to a beautiful high polish finish. Lastly, I deleted the cyclops magnifier on the crystal to go with this no-date setup.The case, bezel and movement are all in excellent condition, and the crystal is unmarked. The bracelet has all links and is unworn.
