Hi everyone,
This is a rare Exquisite Seiko LM Lord matic watch in absolutely gorgeous condition. It has a stunning Vibrant Brown Fumed sunburst dial with super solid beefy case. This watch has strong resemblance with Grand Seiko 5641gs. Pretty impressive for a 50-year-old watch. Comes with a LM signed original Seiko braclelet. The movement has been cleaned, oiled, and SERVICED by a master watchmaker. Accuracy checked with timegrapher. Super accuracy. It's running flawlessly. Day- Date complication. This is a beast under sunlight, pictures don't do justice to this beauty. It's pretty rare to see a piece like this come on. They were designed to have premium build quality but within regions of Japan, this is an all JDM piece. Handling this, I can definitely guarantee this is far above any modern watches in the same price zone. Comes with English and Japanese day wheel. The Kanji(Japanese) date highly complements the dial. It will be shipped with the original LM Beads of rice Bracelet. The polish is insane with sharp brushed lines and mirror finishes. Textured 3d Mirror finished electric hand complements the dial. Seiko has always kept such fumed dials limited and they fetch a lot higher than other color variants of same model. This is a collector's piece.

This model like all LM’s has the King Seiko 56 base movement (a high end automatic that was thinner then all other auto’s of the time).

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
