Up for sale today is my favorite daily driver watch: ​ The Omega Speedmaster Professional Mitsukoshi Mod. ​ The watch: This is a naked Speedmaster that has been modified to include OEM Omega Mitsukoshi dial and handset. This extremely limited edition dial was unique to the Mitsukoshi department store in Japan and is nearly impossible to find these days as Omega no longer provides them to dealers without confirmation of original Mitsukoshi serial number. The dial and handset alone fetch around $3-4k depending on availability, which is getting more and more scarce. This watch comes on an OEM 1498 SS bracelet with the 840 endlinks, which allows it to have a nice 20-16mm taper. It can fit a wrist slightly larger than my own (7.5”). Included: 145.022 Omega Speedmaster Aftermarket sapphire caseback 1498/840 bracelet (beautiful taper and the most comfortable speedy bracelet imo) Original black dial and white hands Condition: As my daily driver for about 2.5 years, there are typical wear marks throughout.
