Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.* This Illinois pocket watch was manufactured in Springfield, Illinois, and was finished in 1925. The timepiece is powered by the ‘Time King’ grade movement, which is a 17 jewel Illinois in-house movement that was produced between 1911-1929. The movement has been restored and refinished with vibrant blue accents. The accents were created through thermally treating each movement part by hand to color the iron-based components. The hands of the watch have been restored using the same thermal treatment process to bring out their original blue steel color. The Illinois dial is porcelain-enamel, in good condition, and features Arabic numerals. The watch is cased in a new silver-colored wristwatch conversion case so the watch can be enjoyed on your wrist. The case is just 12 mm thick, which provides a low wrist profile for a pocket watch conversion.
