A rare Ulysee Nardin from 1960s with an automatic movement (cal. N1633) and 36mm case. The lug to lug of 43mm makes it a very contemporary when worn. Very classy with silver sunburst dial and calatrava style. For a brand known for maritime watches, this is a rare style to come across. I do not know the service history but it keeps time well and rotor works for self Winding. The crown, the clasp and strap are not original. Leather strap is brand new. The crystal has been replaced. Please check the movement photos for authenticity. It does not have papers or box. Will ship with a generic watch box Asking 850$ plus shipment. Shipping from Dubai to Globally. Founding his company in 1846, Ulysse Nardin first trained in horology under his father, Leonard-Frederic Nardin, and perfected his skills under the tutelage of Frederic William Dubois and Louis JeanRichard-dit-Bressel, two master watchmakers whose fame extended beyond the mountains of Neuchatel, Switzerland.

Ulysse Nardin's marine chronometers have seen service with the navies of some 50 countries during the mid-1800s.

In 1983, the company was acquired by businessman Rolf Schnyder who, in conjunction with watchmaker Ludwig Oechslin, relaunched the brand. Schnyder and Oechslin would aim to produce complication timepieces using modern materials and manufacturing techniques.

In 2014, Ulysse Nardin was acquired by the Kering Group, formerly known as PPR.
