Hello WatchEx, This watch needs no introduction. Have you been looking for a classic SMP Bond 41mm Chronometer watch but don’t want to compromise on sketchy service history, fears of wearing in the pool, a loose bezel? You’re in the right place. This is a freshly completely overhauled by Omega SMP 2531.80 in Nov 2025. Putting this watch on you will be transplanted into the late 90s/early 2000s with its amazingly slim case, ridiculously robust build, and smiley wave dial. Ready to wear and enjoy the second you get it, and it is absolutely complete with everything that it came with when new + all replaced service parts + Omega service box + 2 year Omega warranty starting in November 2025. Please excuse the dust in the photos, the sapphire is absolutely pristine. This is a ridiculously beautiful watch that I think makes the current lineup look sterile, cold, and industrial. Price: $3850 shipped firm net to me within CONUS. Paypal F&F / Zelle. This was over a $1000 service with many parts replaced including the hands, movement parts, bezel click springs, all pins in bracelet and case, etc. it wears and interacts like a basically new watch, and the bezel action puts the current lineup to shame. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
