Up for sale is the Omega Seamaster Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified Ref 168.024 in great condition. Produced in 1968, The Omega Seamaster Ref. 168.024 is powered by in-house Caliber 564 COSC automatic movement.This example features a clean non-lume silver dial with beautiful sunburst. The 35mm stainless steel case (37mm including crown) retains its original bevels on the lugs and brushed finishing on the case sides. The Seamaster medallion on the screw-down caseback is crisp and well-defined. The dial, hands a applied markers are all superb mint in condition. The quick-set date function operates correctly. The watch is in great original condition, showing minor scratches on the case and caseback. Crystal is flawless with zero scratches, completely original with the omega logo in the middle. It comes fitted on OEM Omega bracelet. It doesn’t come with original box and papers. Price: $1300shipped flat shipping (via FedEx/DHL/USPS. Payment via PayPal F&F or Wise only. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
