This NOS Citizen Cosmotron has been tested flat for 24 hours and it’s running fine, no meaningful delays. The battery was swapped for a new one beforehand, so it’s good to go on that front. The timestamp has been attached with the album posted (last picture). Everything works like it should: * Crown pulled one notch sets the time. * The 8 o’clock pusher snaps the seconds back to zero. * With 12 o’clock up, pressing the crown advances the date. * With 6 o’clock up, pressing the crown advances the day. The cool part is it still has its original tags, which makes me think it was never really worn, just stored away. The case has the usual hairline scratches and marks from sitting around for decades, but nothing serious. Dial and crystal are clean. It’s got the proper “CTZ” signed crown, and while the caseback shows some scratches from opening, the engravings are still sharp. The bracelet is original too but there’s a extremely minor stretch, but nothing crazy. No real scratches, clasp works fine, and the logo is still nice and crisp. All up, it’s a really clean vintage piece. Definitely one of those watches that feels special in hand.
