[WTS] Vintage Omega Automatic Cal. 550 ‘Chevrolet’
[WTS] Vintage Omega Automatic Cal. 550 ‘Chevrolet’
A beautifully preserved Omega Automatic Ref. LU6289, Caliber 550, produced in 1970 and sold in 1971 by Padover Jewelers in Detroit to the Chevrolet company. It was engraved and presented to factory employee R. Bicknell for 25 years of service, the “quarter century club.” The dial was printed with “Chevrolet” at the factory, by special order from Chevrolet via the jeweler. Minor scuffs, but this is a very, very clean watch for its age. The watch is 10k gold filled. The beads of rice bracelet is gold plated. The watch comes with the original box as well as the booklet/receipt. If you’ve got a fan of vintage watches and or American cars and manufacturing in your life, this would be an incredible collectible gift. Asking $550, OR BEST OFFER.
