Originally designed for pilots, the “Big Crown”—which gives the model its name—allowed for easy adjustments while wearing gloves. The Oris Big Crown Complication Moonphase, features a 38mm stainless steel case with a rose gold-plated coin-edge bezel. The case measures 44mm lug-to-lug, 11.5mm in thickness, and has a lug width of 19mm. It is equipped with a domed plexiglass crystal and a screw-down exhibition case back showcasing the automatic Oris Caliber 581 movement, which offers a 38-hour power reserve and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The rose gold guilloché dial includes gold-toned Arabic numerals and indices, with sub-dials displaying the day at 3 o’clock, a 24-hour second time zone at 6 o’clock, and the date at 9 o’clock. A moonphase indicator is positioned at 12 o’clock. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters. The watch is in mint condition, with almost no scratches nor dents. The crystal is clear and clean, dial is flawless. It comes on the original OEM two-toned steel bracelet, which fits wrists up to 21cm (8.3 inches) with tag hanging. The movement has recently been serviced and is keeping excellent time at +/-5s a day. It comes with original box, papers, instruction booklet and tag.
