Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Duo GMT. Mint condition. This may be the star of the group but needs some introduction as most are not familiar with the brand. Dubey & Schaldenbrand is a small but historic, very well regarded Swiss company. The Aerodyn Duo has been a centerpiece of their watches for years. It has a unique second timezone complication (the top subdial) which operates independently of the first and can be adjusted in any position including those bothersome timezones that are 1/2 hour off from the reast of the world (looking at you India and Australia). Or, you can use the second timezone as an impromptu 24-hour chronograph. At the 9 o'clock position there is a 24-hour indicator for the second timezone. The second time is adjusted in the first position of the crown by rotating the crown towards the 12 o'clock position. The date is also set in the first crown position, in this case by rotating the crown towards 6 o'clock. The time is set in the second crown position, which also hacks. It is a 28,800 bph, automatic movement with 23 jewels, Glucydur balance, incabloc shock protection, and anitmagnetic Nivarox spring. My pictures don’t make it justice, the dial is enameled deep black and apparently done by the same artisans that produce Frank Muller dials.
