Up for sale is my Velencianico Nereide Ultraleggero 42 Skeleton (Ref. 3921508C). This is a catch and release — I was drawn in by the design, but after some wrist time I’ve realized skeleton dials just aren’t my taste. The Ultraleggero really shows off its open-worked movement in a way that feels technical yet elegant — you can see the movement in motion while still getting strong legibility from the applied markers. The 42mm case and bracelet have excellent wrist presence, and the overall build quality is what you’d expect from a microbrand that’s gotten a lot of respect in enthusiast circles. It’s the kind of watch that draws attention and starts conversations.
