Details

Dial: Glossy black dial. Natural patina on dial. Heavy patina on slide rule. Some minor lume loss on minute hand. Tritium lume becomes uniformly activated when exposed to UV light.

Bezel: Original, bi-directional bezel

Movement: Manual wind Valjoux cal. 7740

Case / Crown / Pushers: Very sharp, unpolished case measures 41mm in diameter. Original Breitling signed crown. Original pushers. Case number 1408xxx dates the watch to 1973.

Bracelet: New brown leather/suede racing style strap by B and R Brands

Accessories: None

Condition: This Breitling Navitimer 7806 has acquired an amazing patina over time. The original owner appears to have had the timepiece serviced once while in his possession, perhaps in the late 1970s. Long overdue for a service, the watch received a complete overhaul (by a WOSTEP trained watchmaker) in June 2025 and is running strong.

Comments: This is a one-owner watch, prior to my acquisition. The original owner, a very adventurous gentleman based in the U.S. (Michigan), wore his Breitling Navitimer on a daily basis up until the mid-1990s.

A returned timepiece will be scrutinized in detail to make sure no parts have been altered or damaged in any way. Buyer is responsible for the cost of postage and insurance of any returned item.
