\[WTS\] Seiko SRQ047 SRQ047J1 Prospex Speedtimer Mechanical Chronograph Panda Dial, Excellent Condition, $1,650 Shipped CONUS I am the second owner of this watch. Originally purchased from Topper's in CA. Under manufacturer's Warranty until December 2025. I got this watch on a trade from another fellow collector. It is a stunning watch that simply does not get enough wrist time so off it goes to another home. I wore this watch on a rubber strap and not on the bracelet. The watch is in excellent condition. The case is mint, the high polished areas reveal no marks. My pictures reflect its condition. The only things to mention are some lines on the clasp (probably from desk diving) and also on 3 links (probably done when it was sized). Please go over the pictures displayed as they clearly show everything. Included in the sale: Double boxes and white sleeve, warranty booklet and filled out card, manual, watch and bracelet with all links, and the yellow Seiko polishing cloth. **ASKING: $1,650 Net to me shipped CONUS (international buyers need to add a little extra $$ depending on location).** **Payment Methods: Zelle and PayPal Goods and Services (fees on buyer). The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
