Wow, this is an incredible and unusual pocket watch! Gruen Verithin from ~1950's, I think. The gorgeous case is made from solid gold inlaid into silver, and houses a high quality Swiss movement inside. Pics: https://imgur.com/a/XzMVeFc Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/157xJDD 47mm sterling silver case inlaid with solid 0.800 (19.2k) gold. The case/movement are indeed "very thin" as advertised, making for a nice low-profile watch. I don't have calipers, but it looks to be about 6mm thick, not including the crystal. Hallmarked and marked "0.800 argent". The movement inside is a Swiss made Gruen Verithin pocket watch movement with 15 jewels, and boasting adjustments to 5 positions and temperature. The watch is working very well, running smoothly and consistently with good amplitude. It is currently running about 2 minutes slow per day, which should be in the realm of adjustability. I would have had it adjusted already, but I only got it two days ago, and haven't had a chance to get it done yet. 12 o'clock push/pull crown for easy time setting. The watch features an incredible guilloche dial with Roman numerals and bleed blued-steel hands. All original, except maybe the acrylic crystal which looks brand new and has no scratches or damage. This is an incredibly gorgeous watch, and I have never seen one quite like it! Asking $299 USD OBO including shipping within North America. Package will be shipped from Canada.
