Ref 3520.53 One of the coolest Speedmaster variants in my opinion. This watch is featured in A Man and His Watch as the watch behind Ben Clymer's interest in watches. I just had it serviced ($875) at a local professional and it is running great and about +6 sec per day. I have a receipt for the service that will be included. It comes with the watch only. It is sized for my 6 3/4 wrist and I have one extra link. The watch is dated to 1996. It has a tritium dial, but luminova hands. I think some transition watches may have come that way, or it may have been serviced some time ago. There is wear and some dings on the bezel, insert, and case, but I think it looks amazing. The dial is in excellent condition. It has been polished. The watch is 39mm with a 44 hour power reserve. Asking $2,950 shipped Firm. Venmo, zelle, or PayPal depending on history. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
