For sale today is my Tissot Z199 Janeiro. Released in 1996 as a limited edition of 3333 pieces, the Janeiro is a homage to the Tissot 33.3 multiscale chronographs of the 40s and 50s. This modern rendition is equipped with a COSC grade, high performance valjoux 7765 chronograph movement with a very unique layout representative of its era. This particular example is in fantastic condition. The case is in great shape with only some light scratches throughout. Case geometry is very sharp and the strong line finish on the sides are fully intact. Some light swirls on the acrylic crystal. The highlight of this piece is that it comes with all of its original accessories. Included are the instruction manual, matching certificate of authenticity, matching COSC certificate, unsigned warranty booklet, watch pillow and pad, wooden presentation box, and matching cardboard outer box. Unfortunately, like many other examples, all the accessories using imitation leather have deteriorated and are no longer in usable condition. It is still incredible how all of these pieces are still included. Service history is unknown; however, the movement is keeping amazing time (0s/d average, 3s/d delta) with strong amplitude.
