Hi WatchEx, selling this Seiko Mini Turtle SRPC37. It’s a catch and release for me, purchased about a month ago via watchexchange but it just isn’t connecting with me. Watch is in very good condition, some light marks on the case, but the bezel, dial, and crystal are clean. Date cyclops was removed by previous owner. Asking price of $180 via Paypal F&F, including shipping to CONUS only. No trade offers please. This comes with only the watch, stock rubber strap, and a green Uncle Straps GL831 rubber strap. No box or papers. Watch Specs: Seiko Mini Turtle SRPC37, 42.3mm diameter and lug to lug of 43mm, lug width of 20mm, 13mm thickness. Hardlex crystal, 200M water resistance, screwdown crown. Movement is the Seiko 4R35 automatic, running at 3hz, 21,600 bph and 40 hour power reserve. Runs at around -5 sec per day in my wear. Please comment and pm/chat if interested! No trade offers please. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
